Project Motivation
Internet access in the EU isn't a binary, connected vs. not connected, but that's how it's usually reported. The real picture is more layered: saturation ceilings in Western Europe, rapid catch-up growth in Eastern Europe, and a shift from desktop-first to mobile-first access that happened at different speeds across different countries. This project uses EuroStat data to map that variation across all 27 EU member states over a decade, separating the countries that peaked early from the ones still climbing.
